I started Descendant of Wolves to honour the bond between human and dog.
When Eddie, my German Shepherd, came into my life, I struggled to find gear that matched his strength, drive, and loyalty. Everything felt overdesigned or underbuilt. Nothing that truly respected what dogs like him represent. So I began creating my own.
Every collar, lead, and tool I design is made with purpose. Built to perform, endure, and strengthen the trust between handler and dog. This brand is for those who don’t just own dogs, but lead them; in training, on the job, or through everyday life.
Eddie is still my reminder of what this brand stands for: loyalty, leadership, and respect. Those values shape every decision I make, both in design and in life.
From my small studio in New Zealand, I’m proud to design gear that represents more than utility. It represents a belief system. A way of working with dogs that’s grounded in heritage, discipline, and purpose.
